Description: This presentation will describe how simulation observers develop significant clinical judgment over time. We’ll explore the role of simulation design and complexity, discussing how both elements influence learning outcomes. Discover how to balance complexity in your simulations to optimize observer growth without overwhelming learners, ensuring the best clinical judgment development results.

Biography: Beth Rogers is an assistant professor at Texas Christian University, where her program of research focuses on understanding how simulation roles and cognitive load influence learning outcomes. She is a founding co-chair of the INACSL Research Special Interest Group (SIG) and a proud member of the CAN-Sim Research SIG.
